2021/2022 Winter Courses (Open story in new window)

Big data, food safety standards, tales in Valencian, gender equality, diversity. These are just some of the topics that will be addressed in the upcoming edition of Winter Courses that the Vice Rectorate for Culture at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) has put together. These courses will be taught between December 2021 and May 2022; in this edition, there are 42 courses in all, of which 13 will be taught in person on the campuses of Elche, Sant Joan d'Alacant, and Orihuela Desamparados. The remaining 29 courses will be taught online over the university virtual campus.

More than 30 actions make up the planned activities from UMH Life, an initiative aimed mainly at the student body of the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH). The goal of this initiative, which is promoted by the Vice Rectorate for Student Affairs and Coordination, is to kick start campus life and create bonds among university students.

Exhibitions by artists Anna Talens and Rakel Gómez Vázquez (Open story in new window)

The Rectorado & Consejo Social Building on the Elche Campus of the Miguel Hernández University of Elche is proud to display the art exhibitions of 'Genius loci' by Anna Talens and 'Fue. Te das cuenta, ahora' (They are gone. You now just noticed) by Rakel Gómez Vázquez. The former is on display in the Universitas Room, while the latter has been set up in the Gray Room. Both collections have been put together by the Vice Rectorate for Culture, and they will remain open to the public for viewing through March 11, 2022.
